The Planning Committee is soliciting Requests for Proposals (RFP) from potential speakers who will present voluntarily on Thursday or Friday, October 9-10, 2025. The RFP submission deadline is May 12, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. Selected presenters will be notified via email.
The committee is seeking a diverse range of speakers who can address topics relevant to the field of volunteer management.
GUIDELINES AND SELECTION CRITERIA
This year’s topics should support our conference theme: Empowering Communities for Volunteer Impact.
Engagement: Priority will be given to proposals that reflect the following criteria:
- Session can be presented in 60 minutes (45 mins with 10-15 mins for questions)
- Relevant topic areas, particularly solution-oriented and resource-directed
- Clarity of content and practical usefulness for those who work with volunteers
- Participant engagement and interaction, such as skill building, interactive discussions, take-away materials, and providing resources
- Case studies on collective impact
- Application in diverse settings
